Power Grid Workshop
It is an educational workshop for 7-12 year olds in a board game format that introduces the principles of electricity generation and transmission.
The functioning of the workshop proceeds in two stages: education and game.
7-12 yaÅŸ grubu için masa oyunu formatında, elektrik üretimi ve iletimi ilkelerini tanıtan bir eÄŸitim atölyesidir.

The activity is done in groups. A map made of fabric material is on the table in front of each group. If a larger table and map are preferred, all participants can work in the same spot.

The designed maps include power plant regions, transformation facilities and residential areas. In addition, students can learn the geographical and climatic conditions of the map with the map cards in their hands.
When the game starts, students choose the appropriate power plant according to the features of the map and try to place transformers, electricity poles and house models in the appropriate places. The game aims to transport electric energy to the settlement in the correct order.
Etkinlik gruplar halinde yapılır. Her grubun önünde masanın üzerinde kumaÅŸ malzemeden yapılmış bir harita bulunur. Daha büyük bir masa ve harita tercih edilirse tüm katılımcılar aynı noktada çalışabilir.
Tasarlanan haritalar santral bölgelerini, dönüÅŸüm tesislerini ve yerleÅŸim alanlarını içermektedir. Ayrıca öÄŸrenciler ellerinde bulunan harita kartları ile haritanın coÄŸrafi ve iklimsel koÅŸullarını da öÄŸrenebilmektedir.
Oyun baÅŸladığında öÄŸrenciler haritanın özelliklerine göre uygun santrali seçerek uygun yerlere trafo, elektrik direkleri ve ev maketlerini yerleÅŸtirmeye çalışırlar. Oyun, elektrik enerjisini yerleÅŸim yerine doÄŸru sırayla taşımayı amaçlamaktadır.
